അന്തിരിങ്ങ ശ്രീ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യസ്വാമീ ക്ഷേത്രം - ഐതിഹ്യം

തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ വളപ്പായ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിനടുത്ത് എടക്കുളം ദേശത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യഭാഗത്തായി ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ബാല മുരുക പ്രതിഷ്ഠയാണ്. ഭക്തർക്കനുഗ്രഹാശിസ്സുകൾ അരുളി സർവ്വ ഐശ്വര്യങ്ങളും പ്രദാനം ചെയ്ത് ശാന്ത സ്വരൂപിയായി വാണരുളുന്ന ഈ മുരുക ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എത്തിയാൽ ഹൃദയം ആനന്ദ സാഗരത്തിൽ ആറാടുമെന്നതിന് സംശയം വേണ്ട.

സ്വാമിയുടെ കടാക്ഷത്താലും മുരുക ഭക്തരായ നാട്ടുകാരുടെ പരിശ്രമത്താലും അമ്പലം വളരെയധികം പുരോഗമിച്ചിരിയ്ക്കുന്നു.

ചന്ദനവേലി ഇല്ലത്തെ ഈ അമ്പലത്തിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു ഐതിഹ്യം നിലനിൽക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പണ്ട് വളരെ പണ്ട് സമ്പന്നതയുടെ കൊടുമുടിയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ആ ഇല്ലത്തേയ്ക്ക് വിശന്നുവലഞ്ഞ ഒരു ബ്രാഹ്മണ കുമാരൻ വന്ന് ഭക്ഷണം ചോദിച്ചു. പൊതുവെ സൽക്കാരപ്രിയരായ ഇല്ലത്തുള്ളവർ നിവേദ്യത്തിനായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ പൂക്കുല പ്പായസം ധാരാളം നൽകി അതിഥിയെ സൽക്കരിച്ചു. പ്രസന്നവദനനായി ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ച് കൈ കഴുകാൻ പോയ ആ ബാലൻ പെട്ടെന്ന് അപ്രത്യക്ഷനായി. ഇല്ലത്തുള്ളവർക്ക് പരിഭ്രമമായി. അന്ന് രാത്രി ഇല്ലത്തെ മുത്തച്ഛന്റെ അടുത്ത് സ്വപ്ന രൂപത്തിൽ പട്ടുകോണകമുടുത്ത് ഒരു സുന്ദര ബാലനായി വന്ന് " ഞാൻ ഇവിടത്തെ ഉണ്ണിയല്ലേ " എന്നും " എനിയ്ക്കിരിക്കാൻ ഒരിടം തന്നുടെ " എന്നും ചോദിച്ചു ത്രെ. പ്രശ്നവശാൽ ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് വന്ന ബ്രാഹ്മണ ബാലനും സ്വപ്ന രൂപത്തിൽ വന്ന ഉണ്ണിയും ശ്രീ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യസ്വാമിയാണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലായി. അതനുസരിച്ച് ഇല്ലത്തിന്നഭിമുഖമായി പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഭാഗത്ത് ക്ഷേത്രം പണിത് സ്വാമിയെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു.

അയ്യപ്പൻ, ഗണപതി, ഭഗവതി എന്നീ ഉപദേവന്മാർക്കൊപ്പം ശ്രീ മുരുകൻ അന്തിരിങ്ങ ശ്രീ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ അനുഗ്രഹം ചൊരിഞ്ഞ് കൊണ്ടിരിയ്ക്കുന്നു.

മകരമാസത്തിൽ തൈപൂയ്യം സ്വാമിയുടെ ആഘോഷമാണ്. മിഥുന മാസത്തിൽ പൂയ്യം നക്ഷത്രത്തിൽ സ്വാമിയുടെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠാദിനം ആഘോഷിയ്ക്കുന്നു. ഷഷ്ഠി ദിവസം അമ്പലത്തിൽ വന്ന് തൊഴുന്നതും ഉത്തമമാണ്. സന്താന സൗഖ്യത്തിന് പൂക്കുല പ്പായസം വഴിപാടായി കഴിയ്ക്കുന്നത് നല്ലതാണത്രെ.

ആ തിരുനടയിൽ ഒരു മാത്ര കൈകൾ കൂപ്പി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു നോക്കൂ - സ്വാമിയുടെ ആ സുന്ദര രൂപം ഉള്ളിൽ തെളിയും സംശയമില്ല.

Anthiringa Sree Subramanya Swamy Temple - Legend

This temple is located in the middle of the Edakulam region of Valappaya near Medical College in Thrissur district. This temple is dedicated to Lord Muruga. There is no doubt that if you visit this temple, Lord Muruga, who bestows blessings on the devotees and gives them all prosperity, and appears in a peaceful form, your heart will be filled with joy.

The temple has progressed a lot due to the Swami's vision and the efforts of the local Muruga devotees.

There is a legend about this temple in Chandanaveli Illam. Long ago, a hungry Brahmin boy came to that Illam, which was at the peak of prosperity, and asked for food. The Illam people, who were generally hospitable, entertained the guest with a lot of Pookkula Payasam made for offerings. The boy, who was happy to eat and went to wash his hands, suddenly disappeared. The Illam people were alarmed. That night, in a dream, he came to the Illam grandfather as a handsome boy dressed in a silk garment and asked, "Am I not the Unni of this place?" and "Give me a place to sit." By chance, it was discovered that the Brahmin boy who came in the afternoon and the Unni who came in the dream form were Sri Subrahmanya Swami. Accordingly, a temple was built on the west side of the Illam, facing the Illam, and the Swami was installed there.

Lord Murugan, along with his subordinate deities Ayyappa, Ganapathy, and Bhagavathy, is showering blessings at the Anthiringa Sree Subramanya Swamy Temple.

Thai Pooyam is celebrated in the month of Makaram. The day of Swami's installation is celebrated in the month of Mithuna in the Pooyam star. It is also auspicious to visit the temple on the day of Shashti. It is said that offering Pookula Payasam is good for the well-being of children.

Just pray with folded hands at that shrine - there is no doubt that Swami's beautiful form will shine within.
